2D relief is the classic choice for lapel pins and metal badges: a flat surface with raised metal lines that keep the design sharp and easy to read. Ideal for logos and text in bulk orders.
3D
Relief
3D relief adds sculpted, rounded detail for premium badges and pins. It requires a separate mold, so the price per piece is higher; on wholesale orders this cost is spread across the whole run.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ is 1,000 pieces per design. As a custom pin manufacturer, we work only with wholesale and bulk orders. This lets us keep every order at factory price.
Are you a custom pin manufacturer or a reseller?
We are a manufacturer, not a reseller. We design and produce every pin and badge ourselves, so you buy direct from the pin manufacturer at factory price. Many brands and agencies use us as their regular custom lapel pin supplier.
How does wholesale pricing work for custom pins?
Wholesale prices for custom metal pins depend on size, relief, number of colors and quantity. The larger your bulk order, the lower the price per piece. Send us your design and quantity, and we will prepare a wholesale quote.
Do you also make custom pin badges?
Yes. We are a custom pin badge manufacturer and supplier for companies, schools, clubs and events. Pin badges are made the same way as lapel pins - hard or soft enamel, die struck or printed - from 1,000 pieces at factory price.
What is the production time?
Production starts from 7 business days after design approval. The exact lead time depends on quantity and design complexity - we confirm it in your quote.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free for all orders delivered within the USA. For international orders, please contact us for a shipping quote. We send the tracking number as soon as your order ships.
What is the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel pins?
Soft enamel pins have recessed color areas with raised metal lines you can feel; it is the most costeffective choice for bulk orders. Hard enamel pins are polished flat and smooth for a premium, jewelry-like finish.
Can you make pins and badges from my logo or sketch?
Yes. Send us your logo, sketch or idea, and our designers will create a free digital mockup within 24 hours. You can request unlimited revisions before we start mass production.
What types of metal badges do you produce?
We manufacture police, security, corporate, name and award metal badges in any shape. All badges are available in 2D or 3D relief with a wide choice of plating and enamel colors.
What is the difference between 2D and 3D designs?
2D designs have a flat surface with raised metal lines and flat tops - the most popular choice for lapel pins. 3D designs have sculpted, rounded details and cost more due to the extra mold work.
What plating finishes are available?
Gold, silver, bronze, copper, brass and black nickel in shiny, antique, matte or blackened versions, plus two-tone gold & silver and rainbow finishes.
What materials do you use?
Most lapel pins and badges are made from zinc alloy, which holds fine details and is non-magnetic. Steel is available for extra durability. Both are coated to resist corrosion.
How many colors can I use?
Up to five enamel colors are included in the price. Each additional color is charged extra.
Can I order custom shapes and sizes?
Yes. Every pin and badge is made to your design, so shape and size are up to you. Standard thickness is 3-5 mm for enamel products and is included in the price.
Do you charge a mold fee?
Yes, a one-time mold fee applies to each new design. We store your mold for up to 2 years, so repeat bulk orders of the same design have no mold fee.
Can you add individual names or numbers?
Yes. We add names or serial numbers by laser engraving for an extra fee. This is popular for police, security and corporate badges.
Do you offer UV printing or photo printing?
Yes. UV printing gives photorealistic, full-color designs on metal. For best results, send images of at least 350 dpi in .jpg, .png, .pdf, .tiff, .psd or .bmp format.
Can I get a sample before mass production?
We do not make physical samples. Instead, we send detailed digital previews - images and videos - for your approval before production starts.
What backing options are available for lapel pins and badges?
Butterfly clutch, deluxe and standard screw backs, safety pin, magnet backing, boutonniere pin, tie clip, scarf clip and cufflink. Lapel pins come with a single or double post: one post is standard for small pins, while two posts are recommended for larger pins (usually over 1.25 inch) to keep them from spinning on clothing.
What if some items arrive damaged?
Every bulk order goes through quality control before shipping. If you receive damaged or defective items, contact us right away and we will resolve it promptly.
